Boomer's Beemer Befouls Boho's Bosom.

Spotted DEEP in the heart of Greenwich Village. The nerve.
I'm so angry, I think I'll write a Beat poem:
(sfx: snapping fingers)
Red Dagger of Commercialism
Pierces my Soul so
Deeply Shallow Yuppies
Guppies walking Bred
Puppies Bread Lines
wines & Whines
NOT my Kinds
Zo-Loft'd Minds...
(oh Fuck it. I gotta get back to sucking on a client's Balls.)

Uh, sorry about having to teabag your client, but anyway, though very pretentious, I think it's a bit clever

You're a copywriter working in advertising and yet you get worked up about commercialism and yuppies and the shallowness of our culture? This point is far too obvious to make. I'll just stop now.

And, you're stupid enough to think I'm actually "worked up."

I'll just stop now.

Nice come back: "You're stupid." No wonder you're paid so well for your work. But I suppose one has to vent publicly to keep from self-destructing with such an intellectually bankrupt and ethically challenged "career."

How about scholars and scientists who seek truth about the world? Rather than selling out and then complaining about the world they help to create and maintain (read: Copyranter) and rather than assuming a cynical ignorance of the possibility of ethical engagement (read: numb in chelsea), they find meaningful and productive ways of enriching the world and the lives of others.

And are you really casting doubts on the character of Jimmy Carter because he "lust[ed] after some chic[k]"? It is good to see Copyranter so well defended by his coterie of admirers.

anon "ethical engagement," the coolest kind. And why are you still here? You really think you're telling me something I don't know? What are you, a 17-year-old writing a paper?

I dislike Beemers. And Mercedes.
So middle class.

I prefer The Bentley. Yup, that's a real automobile.

I can say red being my favorite color, ithis car is not half bad. Although...it is a BMW...a common and oh, so middle class vehicle.
